asahi.

The Asahi excellence perpetual award took inspiration from a design in our core range, eventually becoming a collaboration between Artisaned Awards, a local ceramic artist and a traditional kintsugi artist.

The custom ceramic disc was created specifically for the client in their desired colour way whilst allowing the artists own creative freedom in application of glaze. Once the firing stage was completed, the kintsugi artist had the task of breaking the disc and repairing it with this traditional Japanese method. Kintsugi meaning to join with gold, symbolising the celebration of flaws and a reminder to stay optimistic. In its final manufacturing stage in which the disc is mounted to its base, this base was designed with a removable face plaque to allow for additional winners names to be added year after year.

The Asahi award for excellence is then replicated annually, a smaller glass version which is gifted to the recipient along with the addition of their name on the perpetual piece.

movember.

The Movember emergency sports challenge mo trophies, are some of the many creations throughout our relationship with the Movember charity organisation.

The multi panel aluminium mo was created for a sporting challenge between 4 major Australian emergency service groups, battling it out at a sporting match whilst competing to see which group could raise the most for the cause.

When designing any mo, consideration is taken as to how the trophy will be displayed, but also how it can be used to further the brand and cause. We designed the mo’s to be removable from their base so the winners are able to use them for props in photos and advertisements before being returned to their stands at the end of the challenge.
